JQuery musings

My recent application of Paulo Regina's 'Ajax Full Featured Calendar 2' JQuery plugin has forced me to dig in to JQuery and add it to my personal toolbox. I'm happy that I have done so. JQuery is, after the usual learning bash, rather simple to apply, and it has the capability to really bring life to your web pages. I am looking forward to getting deeper into the 'language' in the near future. Toward that end, I have purchased a copy of Murach's JQuery, 2nd edition, which has been quite helpful. I have also found w3schools.com's 'JQuery References' to be handy; they are on several pages, beginning with: https://www.w3schools.com/jquery/jquery_ref_selectors.asp.

Website active calendar

My newest client, Balgrae Dog Training in Charlton, Massachusetts, needed a calendar on the website for managing the scheduling of events. It needed the ability, password protected of course, to be updated easily by adding new events and editing existing ones. Clients had to be able to manipulate the display to view these events.

The result may be seen on their website at Balgrae calendar page. Perhaps your website clients can benefit from an event calendar on YOUR website. As always, this feature is Mobile-Ready for easy access by smartphone users.

Mobile-Ready websites

We are now offering Mobile-Ready websites. Each week, more of your clients are viewing your website using a smartphone or tablet. Be sure that these clients are rewarded by finding your website easy to navigate on their small screens. Google now considers mobile friendliness as part of its search ranking process; don't let your website be downgraded!

Already have a website? I can convert it to be Mobile-Ready. Contact me today at 518-638-8118 to discuss your needs.
